Welcome to the Audio Course that accompanies the Moon Landing Ritual Keeper!
We are so pleased that you are here, and that you are working to cultivate your creative gifts, improve your relationship with yourself and other human beings, and fall in love with the natural world.
The Ritual Keeper Print is a collaboration of Moon Landing Meditative Arts and Radiant Light Studios, made in the Conscious Design Lab.
This course is alive, it changes and adapts over time. Content is generated in the in-person course, and recordings are made so you and others can practice on your own. The visualizations presented here are synthesized from a cross-cultural study of how ritual spaces are held and Buddhist mind-training. Content may change, as it becomes more responsive to the living people who are activating it.
New Moon Ritual: (approximately 30 min)
This guided visualization is the first step of this ritual. It begins in the ground of your consciousness. It helps you honor this space & pay respects to the beings that support your life. Then, you will visualize creating a protective wall to practice within, then you see yourself making offerings in the four directions to satisfy negative energies that might be obstacles to your practice, and light lamps for helpful energies. Then, in the center, you purify yourself of regret and commit to repair. After that, you rejoice for your beneficial deeds. Being clear, and reminded of your intrinsic goodness, you then look up at the Northstar-the reason you are doing this ritual. Making a wish on the star, an ember falls and becomes a seed. This seed is the action you will take over the lunar cycle to feed your spirit. You plant it into the ground, with loving care. Over the moon cycle you will weed, and water the seed.
Weeding and Watering the Seed: Bedtime Daily Practice (approximately 20 min)
This is a meditation that is suggested to do every night during your ritual cycle to strengthen the effects of your effort. In it, you weed around your seed-purifying regret and weakening the power of unhelpful impressions on your mind. Then you rejoice for your beneficial thoughts, words and actions of the day. These water the seed. Lastly, you will celebrate your effort towards your ritual action. This helps strengthen the power of the mental impression. You expand its power by imagining it touching the lives of people you know, all the way to everything that is alive.
Lunar Breathing: (approximately 11 min)
Lunar breathing is a prāṇāyāma practice to support calm in your experience. Learn the basics here, then practice it anytime it feels supportive.
